Welcome to my corner of the universe to share thoughts, inspirations, and questions that arise while on my journey for Jesus. My goal is to encourage, provoke and relate to my fellow humans--particularly others in the body of Christ. I'm a single woman in the Caribbean [Virgin Islands if ya nasty!], and most of what I say will reflect that perspective but you'll get SO much more than that. HOLY HOTNESS by peculiar VIrtue
That’s a great question—I’m glad you asked! Truth is, I’m still trying to figure that out myself… But I can tell you this much:
“pVI” is short for peculiar VIrtue—a self-given tag that I felt described me rather well. Basically, I’m not your average virtuous woman; the peculiar part comes from 1 Peter 2:9 (KJV). The capitalized “VI” stands for the (United States) Virgin Islands—my home. I’m an ‘almost-30-year-old’ woman who, by now you already know, is a born-again Christian. My hair is natural, Zumba is my current athletic pursuit and I am a die-hard “foodie”—DARK chocolate is my drug of choice! LOL Culture and the arts stay at the top of my list of personal interests and I long to travel the world.
Believe it or not, I’m not a ‘people-person’ (imagine that) but this introvert has lots of opinions and loves to write, so this blog is my best effort to reconcile the two. You’ll probably pick this up in my writing, but just in case ya don’t: I’m a geek. I will watch Discovery Health, History and Travel channels all day if you let me. I’m also single with no children, not even pets, and I’m praying for my God-given purpose in life on top of all that. So what could I possibly have to blog about??
